Ways To Give

The Cape Conservatory's artistic, education and community programs would not be possible without the generous support of individuals, businesses, organizations, and foundations. There are many ways for you to play a crucial role. Each opportunity offers its own experiences and rewards.

Any amount, large or small, will benefit the Conservatory:

  • Bolster our Financial Aid Scholarship Fund
  • Sponsor our Program Directors
  • Facilities Maintenance
  • HVAC repairs & upgrades
  • Posters & programs for our events
  • Replace seats in Highfield Theatre
  • Support our Education & Outreach programs
  • Purchase art supplies for our youth classes
Give here to make a lasting impact!

Annual Fund
Unrestricted gifts allow the Conservatory to address areas of greatest need and successfully respond to an ever-changing environment. Your donation helps to underwrite:

  • Educational & Performance Opportunities.  Your support opens doors for talented and dedicated students to explore and excel in music, art, dance and drama.
  • Talented Faculty.  Your contributions help us engage and support a faculty of talented artists and educators committed to cultivating the individual talents and collaborative spirit of our students.
  • Music in our Community.  Your gifts enable our students to share the joy of the arts with others through performances in schools, assisted-living residences and other venues in the community.

Scholarship Giving
The Conservatory offers two types of scholarships:  scholarships based upon merit and scholarships based on financial need.  A committee of senior administrators chooses all scholarship recipients primarily on the basis of financial need and artistic merit. Donors may not select recipients. For more information about making a donation to a scholarship fund contact:

Highfield Theatre Restoration Project
In 1972, Mr. & Mrs. Josiah K. Lilly III gave the theatre and 22 acres to the Conservatory to help ensure the future of performing arts in the region. While opening the doors to vibrant and longstanding artistic partnerships with the Falmouth Theatre Guild and the College Light Opera that enhance the artistic community,  the theatre also provides a reliable rental income for the Conservatory. Continual use of any building takes a toll and the
Highfield Theatre Renovation Project committee has done remarkable work fundraising for and making necessary improvements to the building. Many projects lie ahead and still need funding.

How You Can Help
Help preserve a piece of history by making a tax-deductible donation directly to the Highfield Theatre Restoration Project. Any amount is greatly appreciated.  Or, join our Recognition Wall with a minimum donation of $200.  We will honor your gift with a handsome 2"x6" namplate, placed prominently with other generous donors on the exterior of the theatre.  Each nameplate carries two lines with 25 characters per line.  Most donors include their name on the first line and use the second line to indicate their affiliation with the theatre for a personal message.
