Music Scholarship Competition, April/May 2017

 

About the Competition

The annual Cape Conservatory Merit Scholarship Competition serves as a platform for music excellence. It helps to support and develop the performing skills of talented musicians enrolled at the Cape Conservatory in music lessons and classes at a variety of levels

Dates & Locations

Auditions:    Saturday,  April 29, 2017
Falmouth Campus  |  9am – 4pm
Barnstable Campus  |  9am – 4pm

Dress Rehearsal:  Friday, May 12,  2017
Falmouth Campus  |  5:00pm -6:30pm


Please note applicants must be available for all dates listed, including the Honors Recital. There will be no exceptions or alternate dates.



Honors Recital
All scholarship winners will perform in a recital on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 2pm at our Falmouth campus.  


Students who accept a scholarship award must perform in the Honors Recital.  Therefore, all students registered for the competition should hold the date on their calendars and schedule their time accordingly to accommodate attending the entire recital.

Any scholarship recipient who does not perform at the Honors Recital – and attend the entire recital in support of other students – will forfeit their award.
