Cape Cod Children's Chorus | Ages 8-15 recommended
The Cape Cod Children’s Chorus is a dynamic program of the Conservatory, directed by John Yankee. Fostering the highest level of excellence in musicianship is the primary goal of the program. At each level - Junior Chorus and Concert Choir - students learn basic concepts of musical notation, melody, rhythm, harmony, along with healthy vocal techniques, including posture, breathing and tone production, diction and head voice. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to discover and uncover more about themselves and their “natural instrument,” while making new friends and vibrant music. Details
CJazz (Conservatory Jazz) Ensembles | All Ages
The CJazz program enables musicians of all ages and skill levels a chance to play jazz standards just like professionals on a bandstand. Students will play all styles of jazz (bebop, swing, Latin, 3/4, smooth, and standards). They will become comfortable with improvisation, perform in a recital, and have fun playing America's Classical Music, Jazz! Details

Flute Choir | Adults
Flute players will flourish in this ensemble, designed for adults with previous experience/instruction. Being part of a wind group offers players a different experience from a mixed ensemble. Students not only play arrangements of well-known pieces. They also experience music written specifically for their musical group. By focusing on intonation, rhythm, tone and technique, students learn how to blend within the ensemble to create a unique and beautiful sound. Students will also have the opportunity to play piccolo, alto flute and bass flute and discover the distinctive tone color each instrument brings to the ensemble. Details
Cello Choir | Adults
Bo Ericsson, principal cello with the Cape Symphony, directs this ensemble for cellists with at least two years experience.
