Amber Broderick - Music History

Amber E. Broderick is a music historian and flutist who specializes in the Romantic era, particularly the work of Hector Berlioz. 

Amber's research interests include music history pedagogy, women in music, and 19th century Paris. She completed three years of Ph.D. coursework in Musicology at the University of North Texas, the largest music performance school in the United States. Amber has presented her research in the U.S., Canada, and Ireland. She received her M.M. in Music History from Bowling Green State University in 2012 and B.A. in Music Education from Saginaw Valley State University in 2010. Amber is originally from Michigan and recently moved from Texas with her husband Josh. She is an animal lover, avid cook, and thrift store enthusiast.
