Payments
Each student must complete a registration form and remit required deposit or payment in full to secure class registration.  Any balance due must be paid before classes/lessons commence.

 


Account Status
Every student’s account must be current in order to register for classes/lessons; we reserve the right to suspend classes/lessons for non-payment of tuition.


Payment Methods
Payments may be made by cash, check or the following credit cards: MasterCard, Visa, Discover. We reserve the right to charge a $25 fee for payments refused by a student’s financial institution.


Payment Plans

Payment plans are available for the Fall and Spring sessions. The Payment Plan is not offered during the Summer Session to students unless they have a previous agreement with the Conservatory.

To qualify, students and/or the parents or guardians of students must complete, sign and submit the Payment Plan Form, along with 25% of the total amount due prior to the first class or lesson. There is an additional $25 fee for this service.  Subsequent payment amounts and due dates are outlined in the agreement and due as stipulated in the agreement.

There is a $25 fee for late payments.  Accounts over 30 days due will accrue interest charges of 1-1/2% per month (18% per annum) on unpaid balances.

We reserve the right to suspend classes/lessons for non-payment of tuition.

Non-Refundable Registration Fee 
There is a $30 non-refundable registration fee per student per academic year, with a $50 maximum per family. This fee is reduced to $10 per class during the summer trimester. The registration fee will only be refunded if the Conservatory cancels a class.
 

Class Cancelation Refunds & Credits
The Conservatory reserves the right to cancel any class due to insufficient enrollment.  In this case, we will issue a full refund, including registration fee.

If an instructor is unable to attend a scheduled session for any reason, he/she will offer a make-up session within the current semester whenever possible. If an instructor is unable to schedule a make-up session, the Conservatory will issue a credit for a future lesson/class to the student’s account.


Missed Classes/Refunds
Students with lapsed attendance from lessons or classes are obligated to pay for the remainder of the semester. No refunds or credits will be issued for missed lessons or classes. In the event of an extreme situation, please contact the Executive Director.
 

Withdrawal Information
Students who are withdrawing from a class must submit a written Notice of Withdrawal to the Conservatory’s Administrative office in West Barnstable. The Conservatory will issue a full refund, minus the registration fee, to students withdrawing at least 5 business days prior to the first class.  The Conservatory will not issue refunds to students withdrawing after a class commences; however, we will send students a letter confirming a tax-deductible donation equal to the amount of unused tuition.
