Supporting the Conservatory helps promote an environment of creativity, culture, and cohesiveness in the community where we live, work and play.

We believe in the value of art in all its forms. It can give us hope, inspire us to action, move us to tears, and bring us closer together. We provide arts lovers with the opportunity to make art, consume it, and appreciate it … because the arts matter.

As a nonprofit organization, our mission is to inspire joy through the arts.  Unfortunately, tuition alone does not cover our operating costs. We must also rely on contributions from individuals, corporations, and foundations. Your gift at any level makes a difference and is 100% tax-deductible.

Any amount, large or small, will benefit the Conservatory:

  • Bolster our Financial Aid Scholarship Fund
  • Sponsor our Program Directors
  • Facilities Maintenance
  • HVAC repairs & upgrades
  • Posters & programs for our events
  • Replace seats in Highfield Theatre
  • Support our Education & Outreach programs
  • Purchase art supplies for our youth classes

Campaign to rebuild the preschool

In January during a freezing New England storm, a water pipe burst in the ceiling of the Cape Conservatory Preschool. Since we had closed the campus for the day due to the inclement weather, water from the burst pipe showered down for several hours, causing a flood in the room. The water saturated the ceiling, poured down the insides of the walls, and flooded the hardwood floors. The room was destroyed. The Conservatory Preschool classroom not only hosts 38 adorable preschool students throughout the week, it also provides rehearsal space to several of our music ensembles in the afternoons and evenings.

While insurance will, thankfully, cover much of the cost of repairs, the Conservatory’s deductible is an overwhelming $5,000. For a non-profit organization, this $5,000 - unbudgeted - expense is a true setback. Please donate to our rebuilding efforts so we may continue our mission of “inspiring joy through the arts.” All levels of support are truly appreciated. Visit our GoFundMe page to make a donation toward rebuilding the preschool room.  Thank you!

Scholarship Giving
The Conservatory offers two types of scholarships:  scholarships based upon merit and scholarships based on financial need.  A committee of senior administrators chooses all scholarship recipients primarily on the basis of financial need and artistic merit. Donors may not select recipients. For more information about making a donation to a scholarship fund contact:
