This flute ensemble class is for teens (16 and older) and adults who are at an intermediate to advanced level of playing, can read music and count reasonably well!  Classical and folk music arranged for duets, trios, quartets, and flute choir (includes alto and bass flute parts) will be explored. Members will be given copies of music to review at home between classes. This class provides an opportunity to meet other congenial and enthusiastic flute players, whether you are currently an active flutist or someone who wants to get back to playing after a long or short break.

Instructor Mary Sholkovitz has been teaching flute since 1972. She is a certified Suzuki flute teacher and she has performed for Sir James Galway on two occasions.
